There’s no single “right” way to build the perfect gift list, but there’s a few ideas we think will make your wishlist even better for the friends and family who come to visit your lists.

Ask for gifts with a wide range of prices

Different people will want to spend different amounts on granting your wishes. Help them out by offering gifts with a range of prices. That way, your granters should find something that they’d like to give you — at a price they can afford.

Make your wishlist in plenty of time

Your granters may not use the internet as often as you. By making your gift list well in advance of your event, it will give them plenty of time to decide which of your wishes they want to grant.

Add a note to wishes where needed

If your wish comes in multiple sizes or colours remember to add a note so that granters know exactly which version you’re wishing for..

Send your list our in plenty of time

Not everyone’s able to spend a lot on presents. Offer gifts across a wide range of prices and let your wish granters decide how much they can afford to spend.

Keep your wishlist updated

Once you've created your list, make sure it stays up to date. Each time you view your list, we’ll let you know if any items are no longer available from your original choice of shop. Wherever possible, we’ll make it easy for you to find a replacement from another retailer.

Add a welcome message before you send your list to friends & family.

Remember to welcome friends & family to your list with a personalised message. It helps them to be sure they’re looking at the right list (and it gives you the opportunity to let them know which wishes you want the most.)

And most of all, remember that it’s the thought that counts!
